What a shame. It’s a shame that Williams wasn’t around to get the pay-per-view loot like lesser boxers like pudding Chisora these days.
Williams was on Showtime PPV and Sky Box office for his fight against Mike Tyson and HBO PPV and Sky box office for his fight against Vitali Klitschko.
williams vitali was on sky sports 1 was not box office , and against tyson he was sent in as cannon fodder , did get a bit of traction fighting on the bbc early in his career but remember him being destroyed by sinan sam when a big favourite in a euro title fight and that seemed to be him finished then ... was before the tyson fight and years before audley fights , he was beat by an old julius francis on the way up , id say williams did well to get anywhere near a world title fight , his best win ironically was probably blowing away kali meehan in 30 seconds , who went on to hold a fringe world title
That is not PPV loot. Loot is stolen goods or money. Williams earned his PPV money. He didn’t need to perform a heist like Joshua, Chisora, Whyte, Belles, Haye.
You right Vitali is the one with the loot there. Danny was good Euro level fighter but he was never going to be a PPV star. Two PPV appearances however is a fantastic achievement above what most boxers will ever achieve. Hat off to him.
He doesn't need the extra bit of money. That's a nonsense excuse. Must be something wrong with him mentally.
