This is genius from Chris Eubank. With Nunn he’s referring to the pendulum step that the great Cuban amateurs use to overcome tall fencing Eastern European’s (often southpaws). It’s where you shift slightly in and out of range with a bouncing motion with your feet. That’s perfect vs the mobile tall lefty Nunn, stay glued to the spot or side-step and he’ll outslick you with his reach, speed, output and greasiness. But slide in and out and he’s falling short or able to be timed, use the step jab as Eubank refers and it’s bridging that gap to get in without being nailed This is Adam Booth/Ben Davison standard stuff or beyond
Just managed to watch a few rounds of the infamous Eubank-Watson II. Watson was landing blistering clusters of 4s and 5s, walking right through Eubanks best and working the angles...shifting his position, angling off his torso; really elite moves
...and you find out who's the best by crossing the pond. you can't give a guy a pass because he failed to do it.
so guys like michaelewski stay at home and make good money without fighting the best fighter on the planet, just like eubank, and the hometown papers try to build him up and discredit the P4P king. are you seeing a trend here?
