Ruddock and Hamed are the two names that come to mind when I think of fighters who fell in love with their power.
Gerrie Coetzee was once a stick-and-move boxer type but after they fused all the bones in his right wrist into one mass of bone (following, IIRC, multiple breakages) he fell in love with that “bionic” right hand and seemed to only look to land it figuring it was a fight-ender.
