I dont think Eddie Hearn is focusing much on the U.K. Boxing market anymore. For him, it's more about creating international events.
Hearn claiming Smith will have a tune up then a big fight. Seeing rumours Jr is being linked to Munguia next. Munguia is a far tougher fight so hope its true
Munguia will tell us if Jr's iron chin is genuine or a myth / assumption. Rate Jr's chances of doing enough to win but then getting humped on the cards
Smith v Eubank Jr on Sky Box Office it is then. Sky desperate to rake in the PPV cash for this one after the Parker v Joyce PPV offering was a non starter. Smith summed it up perfectly when asked if it was the exposure on the Sky platform that lured him to sign with Boxxer , absolutely not its whats best for my family was his answer, bottom line = show me the money. Anyone who thinks any different is an idiot. If you're being watched by the 50 DAZN subscribers (as some refer to it as) but getting twice the money anyone else is offering that is ALL that matters at the end of the day for 99% of fighters.
Beefy deserves a good payday - honest lad who comes to fight and earned a tiny fraction of loot accumulated by Puddings Chisora and Whyte.
Just put Smith Vargas on as I was pissed on my son’s footy holiday when I watched it last time. Some woman saying Smith is a very basic fighter. Clueless.
8th round and she says. Liam Smith is anything but basic he’s doing this this this and this great. Just proved she hasn’t got a clue about what she was paid to commentate on, ridiculous.
I don't understand hearn coating off smith and saying he isn't part of matchrooms main plans. The last show hearn sold out in UK was the Smith led Liverpool show. Which was also the last decent card he put on in the UK They need a massive reset .
The fight with eubank will do well buy seems a strange signing consists age and presumably his best days behind him Parker another strange signing. As long as they in good fights who am I judge.
