Teo is just one person. Based on the career paths of his peers Teo is going against the grain. Unless everyone else also steps up to the plate then this generation isn't changing at all.
In Pacquiao's era Pacquiao fought Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera, and Juan Manuel Marquez multiple times. Miguel Cotto fought Pacquiao, Margarito, and Canelo square in their primes. Orlando Salido fought Marquez, Gamboa, Lopez, Garcia, and Lomachenko. Donaire rumbled with Darchinyan, Montiel, Narvaez, and Rigondeaux, even taking on Inoue when he himself was past his prime. Andre Ward fought Kessler, Froch, Abraham, Dawson, and finally Kovalev before they got old. That's one thing you can't accuse him of. Roman Gonzalez got in the ring with Yaegashi, Estrada, and Rungvisai while they were prime. It's vanishingly rare but there are still real men who challenge themselves.
