Who wins this? Can Lomo make SRR say No Mas?

No. In fact how much do you know about Sugar Ray Robinson? He was much better than Loma and not to mention a welterweight. Loma is nice and definitely incredibly skilled but is no where near SRR

Of course Lomachenko beats him, along with a dozen others. Boxing has evolved since SRR, he was also particularly successful because he brought some new stylistic angles along with him. He wouldn't be a novelty today, just another good fighter. Look at the footage, he does nothing amazing. He just has flat footed, unevolved plodders to beat up on. It's absurd to think that Lomachenko wouldn't box circles around him. Just look at video and be honest.

    This thread is ridiculous.

I won't vote nor participate in any discussion in this kind of thread. An example of poor topic discussion making.

Robinson would be too strong and too big for Loma, you can't possibly think that would be a legit matchup.
    Stupid thread.

Give over. The size difference makes this impossible for Loma. It'd be a difficult task if they were the same size but like...you can't give this matchup to people, it's unrealistic.

Welterweight Sugar Ray on form beats any welter, and therefore beats anyone below that weight. Common sense really.

Isnt SRR huge compared to Loma? That being said I feel Lomachenko is too evolved as a boxer and would probably feast on the one dimensional plodders that SRR beat up.

Robi`s jab wouyld be too long and constant for Loma, he`s never faced a jb that long, Linares had a reach similar to some welters but didn`t throw as many as Robi, also Loma has never faced power like Sugar`s, he knocked out one of the toughest middles of all-time, if Linares could catch Loma and floor him what is a murderous finisher like Robi going to do to him, we also don`t know if Loma`s hand speed would be quicker than Robi`s at welter, his combo`s were lethal, his right hook to the side would cripple Loma who has never faced body punching at that level, Loma is amazing but he wouldn`t stand a chance v a welter puncher like Robi.

Plodders like Gavilan, Basilio and LaMotta? lol! LaMotta`s jab was like Loma`s in terms of how often he threw it at Robi, how he tripled it and didn`t telegraph it, plus his body punching was as good as Loma`s, one thing LaMotta had one of the greatest chins in middleweight history, doubt little Loma could take the shots LaMotta took at middle, p4p Loma is a better fighter than LaMotta, but the 'plodders' that Ray fought at middle would have destroyed Loma, he`s tiny and would be slow as hell having to carry 160lbs, Duran would have knocked him out at middle and probably welter also.

So size matters despite the disparity in talent and skill. Okay thanks Mark.

3 people have voted Loma by KO?! So Loma hits harder than middleweight like Turpin?! Turpin would have knocked Loma out in 3 rounds max at 160lbs, therre isn`t one fighter that has been middleweight champ in any decade, moving up that Loma would have the slightest chance of knocking out.

Have you seen film studies on Robi? This is no middleweight version of Ruiz!
