Of course the only talk of last night was poor old dillian Whyte , poor dillian deserves his shot blah blah blah 1000 days blah blah blah Spare a thought for poor Zak chelli that card from Victor loughlin was one of the worst things I have seen for a long time, how can he have such lack of respect for a fighter , every fighter puts their life on the line for what? to be completely ****ed over by someone obviously being paid by matchroom . I thought the draw card was harsh but for Victor to have Cullen winning by 5 rounds is an absolute disgrace and what is said and done nothing at all, so chelli career takes a backward step and Victor will be on the next matchroom show , why isnt he made to justify his scoring??
I agree. Who scored it so wide for Taylor as well. They also have a lot of explaining to do. I know it is easy to score a fight and it is subjective but some of the scoring is shocking.
I agree, thought it was a relatively easy fight to score, Chelli 8-2, 7-3 at worse. Last time i remember seeing something as bad was Burns v Beltram.
All judges should be held accountable for their scoring in a review after the event. The BBBC and the governing bodies should hold a meeting with each judge and ask them to explain how they scored each round as they did using video to support it, if it has been found the said judges have had their eyes closed and are just there to get paid they should be suspended and not able to pick an easy check up for some time. Judging and refereeing atm seems controvitial in most major fights that don't end in a KO it really does need looking at.
I didn’t see the Chelli fight but the Taylor score was a disgrace. However, If I was putting my health on the line in the ring i’d want him in with me.
Wow surely he was drinking heavily through the night or something. That should be looked into. To be a mile out on 2 separate fights on the same night is a disgrace. I'm surprised that boxers and there teams don't kick up more of a fuss. It can cost them millions of pounds potentially.
He is completely corrupt no doubt. Not just for Matchroom though. He’s dodge on all the home cards. He knows who’s paying his wages. pretty sure he only scored it one out on the Cullen right. Although that was bad enough considering he lost by 4 rounds. he is even the home judge on the Matchroom Italy cards. Where he scored for Bellotti and Ward widely when they both lost their bout.
Zak Chelli does fight like an absolute caveman at times though doesn't he? Loads up on every punch and you can see em coming from a mile away. Although the scores were atrocious I'm sure Chelli didn't look as exciting in the judges vision as he did at home.
