Would you advice Wlad to come back and try to break the Foreman record as oldest Champ in history?

Would imagine he'd beat Bryan pretty easily..

Foreman came back and won the unified, linear titles. Wlad would have to beat at least Usyk to have an unequal but comparable feat. And he wouldn't beat Usyk at this stage.

Stay retired. The division has passed you by, Wladdy. Happens to the best, and you have nothing to be ashamed of.

 

the HW division right now is kinda trash ... except for the guys at the very top.

He'd have to beat Usyk or Tyson Fury and that's a big ask at his age.

I'd say that if he was really motivated and felt up to it - what the hell, why not? One last roll of the dice.

Win the belt and retire a legend.

Or lose, and you're no worse of than before because everybody expected you to lose anyway.

 

Probably unpopular take, but in his prime he matches up well against Usyk stylistically. That said, he's gotta be way too far gone by now. He should just stay retired.

Vlad is still in decent shape and I would fancy him against most apart from Usyk and Fury.

 

I want to see Wladimir try to jab-and-grab Usyk. Fight like a "big man", show Joshua how it is done.

 

I was thinking would Vlad try and do the "octopus" like he did against Povetkin. I think Usyk's footwork and speed would keep him out of range though.

 

Wlad's footwork might be awful these days. Would have loved to see how Usyk could negate 2010 Waldo's jab.

 

Wlad would be so stiff, slow and telegraphed right now that he would get stopped quite easily by Usyk and dominated by Fury.

 

If somebody like Moorer held a title he could come back. At this age he won't beat Usyk or Fury. He even lost to AJ years ago at 41.

 

Vlad definitley knew how to use his large frame and jab to make life difficult. I think that's why a lot of the opposition went in defeated before the fight. It would take someone like Fury to solve that.

He had an entire second career spanning a whole decade before retiring again after a highway robbery. It's not just about winning the title: it's about the circumstances of his comeback and the impression it left on people.

That, and Wladimir would actually have to unify or beat an undisputed champion to surpass Foreman's achievement, since Moorer was at the time of his defeat an unified and linear champion.
