Ranking Holyfield #3 Heavyweight of all time. For the life of me, I really don't understand why. It seems very solid to me.

My latest, Mike Tyson vs Muhammad Ali, both prime, sounds like a broken record. Too many posters that are in need of originality lessons. And also I am tired of posters who like to instigate other posters with useless juvenile rhetoric because of a hidden resentment against another. The instigators need to stop putting Downey in the agitating cycle.

I'm sure this will be massively unpopular, but I scored 8 rounds for Joe Frazier in the Thrilla in Manila. I'll admit I am a huge Frazier fan, but I watched the fight closely, trying to be as objective as possible. I felt that many of the rounds were close and I don't like to score rounds even. The close rounds that I scored for Joe were based on his body attack and work rate. I could understand some of those rounds being scored for Ali for sharp punching and defense as well, but that's how I saw it.

I do not see it as unpopular my friend, everyone's opinions do matter, all of our perceptions are different.

Why not just retire then? He'd already beaten everybody at that point, and their was nothing left for him. He ended up retiring after beating Spinks anyways.

I think this one takes the cake  . For obvious reasons, I doubt this would've happened, but I would've loved to see it.

Jack Johnson is the most overrated heavyweight in history. The sole reason he is rated on many peoples top 10's is because of his undeniable societal impact. His "defensive genius" was simply catching poorly thrown punches of the cherrypicked middleweights he fought, and clinching for entire rounds. His most even matched opponent was Jess Willard, freaking JESS WILLARD. Sure, Johnson was past prime, but Willard being the best matched boxer he fought (based on age, experience, skill and size) is still just utterly sad. People talk about Marciano and his overinflated record, but Johnson had the most laughable title defenses in history, I cant imagine a 37 year old (remaning active like Johnson did) Dempsey, Louis, Walcott, Marciano, or even Jeffries had he stayed active in boxing losing to freaking 32 year old Jess Willard

The way Benito Mussolini was great for Italy. Some people don't mind the secret police so long as the train's on time.
