He's only got himself to blame for that. He's accepted "wins" he knows he never really deserved. He's had many close fights but never had one go against him too. When you sign with the sin city mafia youre credibility goes out the window
What about 168 with no re-hydration clause and the biggest ring in the world? You know, like Saunders?
Craig Richards in the second half of his fight against Bivol showed how you beat him. You need to be aggressive and let your hands go when he is. I don’t see Canelo having any problems with Bivol after he has looked at him for 2-3 rounds. I want the Beterbiev fight for Canelo because Beterbiev’s power will make that an interesting fight.
Craig Richards did nothing to Bivol, don't listen to biased British media. Bivol totally dominated Richards. Dimitry Bivol is the best pound to pound active boxer in my opinion. He is a total machine. Perfect boxing skill sets and good stamina. Canelo wouldn't beat him, unless Adalaide Bryd is in the judge trio.
Richards took at least 3 of the last 5 rounds off Bivol. He was very effective and it shows how under rated he is as a fighter, as I haven’t seen anyone rattle Bivol like that.
I disagree. Richards were punching Bivol's gloves, almost no clean shots on the face. On the other hand, almost all of Bivol's shots were landing on Richard's face. Clean shots. I found it so funny that Richards was raising his hand in the end of every round as if he won that round. Ridiculous. And in the end of the match, he was very surprised that he lost the match, he acted like he deserved the win. It felt like before the match they told him: "Don't worry bro, judges will be on your side if the fight goes on distance, we are on British soil", and when the result was announced he was like: "But you had promised me the win ". The scoring of this match was absolutely a disgrace. Bivol won it wide. 115-114 and 114-114 scores were ridiculous. Only one judge scored it right: 118-110.
Canelo always struggles or loses in fansty matchs but in reality he wins and fans come out with all different kind of excuses...
I can’t ever count Canelo out these days. I expected GGG and Krusher to KO his big Red aze and yet they failed. At this point Canelo can possibly beat anyone from 154 to 175.
Canelo's kryptonite - fighters good on their feet with solid technique - have to be able to hurt him at some point too. I don't think Bivol hits hard enough to deny the time Canelo would need to find an opening to hurt and stop him. My money is on a late Canelo TKO in an otherwise close fight...
