Seeing Usman wide open and rocked by Burns right hands got me thinking he wouldn`t last long at super-middle v a world champ boxer but am I being harsh could he last the distance in a world title fight in a boxing match v a super-middle world champ?

No. Conor didn't last the distance against 20 lbs smaller, 40-year oid and rusty Floyd, who hadn't had a real KO in a decade. Any of the top SMWs would have their way with Usman.

Obviously more to do with Conors **** cardio then Floyds punches and while i am no fan of Usman he has a good chin at cardio but doubt he would offer much against a world champ boxer and likely gets totally outclassed and likely stopped late.
This just another ridiculous boxing v mma thread from mark

You havent got over him beating Usman have you lol he might eventually get stopped but apart from fighting some monster puncher theres no way he gets stopped in 1 round

Having great cardio in a sport you know and a round format you know is one thing, having it for 12x3 in a sport you don't know is another. I think Usman would gass as well, if he lasted that long which I don't think he would.

Depends who he fought i guess as early on in the Floyd v Conor fight im assuming Floyd was at least a little hesitant early on due to Conors potential ko power and in Usmans case im not sure outside a lucky shot he has much if anything that would concern a world champion boxer and you could be right about gassing etc as while Usman is pretty tough due to his wrestling background he likely would become more despondent and tire more quickly as he realizes how out of his depth he would be.

I like quite few threads and posts of yours and love the passion for boxing including the tecnical side you have but as a fan of boxing foremost but someone who enjoys and respects most high level combat sports i dont understand why it seems you make these boxing v mma threads which usually try to make out how much better boxing is and to minimilize mma and its fighters

It goes without saying though that Usman would destroy any SMW boxer in MMA.

Fair enough but if it makes you feel better Israel boxed the ears off a pro boxer.

No Usman would not go the distance with a Super Middleweight Champion such as Canelo . They train for 2 different sports with different gloves and it makes a huge difference . Usman has power and a good jab but you need to know more than that . Now if he trained for boxing for a year , he might last the distance as he is tough , would still lose though.

No the likes of Usman and Colby would get destroyed by Canelo

Likewise put Canelo in a cage with either of them and he's losing a limb
