Tito had better fundamentals and Curry was easier to hit, Curry would have been sparked by the first hard hook that caught him.
I think Curry's quickness would be a factor. He had a snappy lefthook himself. I think Curry at his best wins this. He was an elite talent.
A good fight for a few rounds before Curry starts zeroing in with those laser-guided shots. Curry very patiently stops Tito in 7.
DC at WW showed with McCroy that Trinidad height wouldn't worry him. DC at his best would be too sharp. DC tko in 10 rds.
I don't think Curry had the durability nor the intangibles to win this. Trinidad's style exerted a lot of mental pressure on his opponents - a pressure that Hopkins had the size and mental toughness to handle, but I think Curry would come undone. Tito by late KO.
How does Curry respond in rounds 9 through 10 when Tito is still there trying to knock his block off? I pick Tito by late round ko.
I've become more realistic about Curry over the years. He was an excellent, excellent fighter, don't get me wrong... but he was missing something. Heart wise, and mental toughness wise, he just did not possess what guys like Leonard, Robinson, and Hearns had. Trinidad was made of more on the inside, and I think it would be the difference.
