People who have sparred both Klitshko and Wilder have stated on record that Wilder hits harder than Klitshko. Wilder has floored Fury 4 times while Klitshko couldn't floor Fury once. AJ freezes when hit on the face as we have seen in all his fights.

This is closest to the truth, but it’s also a two-way street. Every Eddie Hearn offer included options that would have had Wilder fighting for Hearn and on Dazn, which they wanted no part of either way. Eddie could have worked out a deal where Dazn or Sky got the non-U.S. rights and PBC handled the U.S. PPV end (the money split evenly purse-wise), with no options and a straight one-off. But likewise he wasn’t willing to do that. What stood in the way of that fight happening was two promotional sides that couldn’t work together. Look how easily the three Wilder-Fury fights were made with PBC and ESPN working things out and no options other than rematch clauses.
In reality, it almost certainly has next to nothing to do with Wilder and everything to do with Haymon and Finkel not wanting to deal with Hearn for whatever reason. Seems they have their own plans for Wilder.
