Again this is a stupid example of what you've been doing the whole thread, saying Whitaker fans say this and that but can you please show me 1, just 1 post where anyone has said anything like he beat 10 HOF fighters? If not either tone your trolling nonsense down or **** off.
Having fought a couple of those HOFer guys... I'm not sure, after 10, that I would be anything more than a drooling paraplegic, having some dear relative type my inane ramblings to you on a MUCH worse computer than I am, thankfully, able to now afford.
Get out, Magna. That's more sarcastic and ridiculous than the post you quoted. As it turns out, Greb has 13 on his record. Anything but child's play.
smh stop trying to act like you're not an alt and you're new here :-( you mad you lost an argument what good is it gonna do to make up a new name and start the argument all over again huh benny?
So what do you make of Greb, personally? Is his record - and fighting some much bigger men - enough to flat-out call him the greatest fighter of all-time considering there is footage of some of the top guys he beat? Or does it simply put him in the conversation, with the title being reserved for others we've seen in far more detail with resumes of their own that are nothing to sneeze at?
I think Greb is a lock for top 3. And I dunno that it matters to dispute any more than that. He's one of the best to ever do it. I gotta give my #1 to SRR- One of the most amazing resumes coupled with near invincibility on film. I watch his clips weekly. Observing him take apart guys like Jake LaMotta, Graziano, and decking a guy like Fullmer...I can't get over it, because I can't imagine another natural 150 pounder doing it. Greb, I'd love to see. I bet he looked pretty spectacular himself.
I would say he's more underrated. He's the only lightweight who deserves to be mentioned next to Benny Leonard. He's possabaly the best pure boxer ever. Not only was he the undisputed lightweight champion. He was also the light welterweight, welterweight and light middleweight champion. He also won an Olympic gold medal.
