I at least partially agree, its how much of that leather would Frazier hold up too, Louis could land in bunches with ko written on each punch.
Frazier himself always sated Louis is the GOAT for him, and when he was asked if Louis could beat Ali, he stated: "I could beat Ali, so Joe could it for sure." Of course Frazier was always humble, and usually you never say to an older guy (your idol) you are better, but for some reasons i feel Louis would KO him like Foreman did. Louis´ KO power in one punch is still very underrated. His right hand had imo more devastating KO power then Frazier´s left hook, + he has faster hands.
Louis would eventually time him with something, stagger him, and finish him. Probably an uppercut. Godoy did more spoiling then Frazier would be content with. He would open more and get countered.
Frazier got hurt plenty of times. And if Louis can hurt you, chances are he will finish you. Louis is the HW king of finishing hurt fighters. No shame. Many including myself have Louis as the Head2Head #1 or top 3.
I admired Smoking Joe Frazier, always thought he had class and always brought his best in a fight. I also admired the great Joe Louis, who was also a great champion. Joe Frazier bobbing and weaving early would have slipped under Louis's right hand to concentrate on the exposed torso. But then Louis's right hand would have begun to find it's mark by round 5. After a brutal exchange, Joe Louis lands a big right hand that sends Joe Frazier tumbling to the canvas, he arises only to be bombarded by many more right hands, that force the referee to end this contest in favor of Joe Louis.
