also make sure your opponent and yourself are wearing thick gloves, at least 18oz or even 20oz for conditioning and making it harder for you and your opponent to hit each other because of the bigger surface areas making it easy to guard.

    WTF?

That is your problem! You are doing too much too soon! No sparring with a guy with 6 month's experience should land him in the ER unless there was a freak accident. The seasoned guys and pros are chewing you up. The coach is letting them. I don't even know is 6 months is enough time to build your body up enough to even apply the principals of Boxing to be able to protect yourself with seasoned fighters. Your coaches are full of it.

    Slow down. Train yourself up.

ive only sparred with 2 pro boxers, one of them took it pretty easy, and some pro mma fighters. as well as amateurs with about 50-60 fights under their belts. i trained for a while by myself before coming to this gym, so i had decent hands, i wasnt a complete beginner. but i do pretty good with them, besides the fact im coming out of training brain dead and half blind some days lol

Its not you its your gym brother, you should not be sparring like this, get the **** out of there in a hurry ...you don't have to give up IMO that's just silly, you just need a better place to train even if it means training on your own until something else comes up
