Ruddock was slightly better foundamentally and he could take a better punch (i'm talking about the one who traded bombs with tyson 2 times of course). Donovan stops him late.
It would probably go similar to Ruddock vs Eddie Richardson Except Ruddock would catch Wilder earlier because Wilder had inferior head movement and footwork to Richardson
Ruddock stops him early. Wilder's excuses would be his costume was to heavy, ruined his legs, his manager didn't notify him early enough to prepare for the fight, his trainer pushed him to hard while preparing for the fight, his trainer didn't push him hard enough, his trainer put a substance in his water bottle, it made him drowsy. He ate to much of his mother's home cooking, was sluggish and tired from doing so. He had sex a minute before the fight started. He thought the fight was to be held in MSG, his manager didn't tell him the fight actually will be held in Vagas, got jet lag from the emergency flight.
Wilder should stop him, though it would be certainly exciting fight. Ruddock wouldn't be scared of him, so we'd get a brawl.
Ruddock would throw smash punches more often than Wilder unloads his right hand Wilder isn't that hard to connect with ... I'll take Ruddock via KO unless Wilder comes out throwing the right hand at the start
I gotta favor Ruddock here, he took a puncher better than Wilder and the smash doesn't need to connect with regularity to take out Wilder.
Ruddock also stopped Smith getting up off the floor to win. And he also beat Lewis during their amateur days. Wilder can punch, but he can't fight. Ruddock stops him mid rounds.
It’s not the ams, and Wilder isn’t a faded Bonecrusher. Ruddock also would have trouble getting full power on the uppercut due to Wilder’s height.
