I think everyone wishes it weren't happening. Needs to be someone cooler than Brian Rose to get people curious about the spectacle/ridiculousness of it.
..Even in 2011 this would have been a putrid mismatch ... Sexy Sergio beats the brakes out of poor Brian.
At least Sergio is playing it smart. Rose is like 36 or something, like the previous 2 opponents. But unlike the previous 2 guys, I expect Rose to actually let his hands go. The last 2 became really gun-shy, real fast. Sergio still has crazy speed for a guy his age. And that southpaw up jab is a pain in the ass.
I'm thinking Sergio has carefully selected this opponent to lose but at his age plans sometimes go astray
Guess I like the underdog role Sergio finds himself in Rose is a step up from the last 2 guys he beat so this should be interesting
How ironic will it be if Sergio wins 1-2 more fights and gets a shot at GGG, assuming he beats Murata? He shafted GGG years ago and under that scenario, GGG would have to fight him. GGG would probably kill him to make him pay for what he did years ago.
