This is like the 2nd or 3rd interview where Manny has said that he wanted and asked for the Terence Crawford fight but didn't get it. Remember, Arum said that he blocked the fight because he feared for Manny's health which is completely laughable. No, the reason that he blocked the fight was because with Manny's contract ending and the whole TR/ESPN partnership deep in the works, Arum couldn't risk either guy losing to Manny as Crawford and Loma were the tentpoles to the network deal. Arum was very interested in making Pacquiao-Lomachenko, but he's on record saying that Lomachenko's father didn't want the fight. And then Lomachenko himself said that he didn't want it (because a win would mean nothing).

This means that Arum either thought Lomachenko had a better chance of beating Manny or he was willing to let Lomachenko lose to Manny, but not Crawford. Maybe because Crawford is American and perhaps possessed greater mainstream appeal.

I would pick Crawford to KO Manny, but Manny also has a very good chance of KOing Crawford. Lomachenko losing by KO to Manny is the only outcome in my opinion.

Crawford would beat pac at this point. As for loma i see a no win situation for manny aside from a large pay. It'll be spence-garcia level of mismatch except it might be entertaining.

Pac. Pac may have diminished but he's still plenty skillful plus bigger. Also i don't even think loma plans to come up anytime soon or manny to go down

Manny Pacquiao is the greatest boxer in history. And I say this as someone who's favorite boxer is Lomachenko. Pacquiao would've KO'ed Lomachenko (after getting schooled in the opening rounds) and would've utterly exposed the stiff hypejob that is Crawford in absolute embarrassing fashion. Crawford has nonexistent fluidity, footwork and power to pose much of a threat to Pacquiao at that time.

It's a good think Lomachenko avoided Pacman. And it's an even better thing the fraud Crawford avoided his master Pacquiao. If you're getting routinely touched up by a washed up glass jaw in Amir Khan who also has bottom of the shelf punching power, then you don't possess too high of a chance at avoiding getting embarrassed by Pacquiao.

I'm probably the biggest Pacquiao fan on this forum, but you are wrong on a few accounts:
    • Crawford would KO Pac now; not sure why people don't see the power (it's real—maybe not thudding, but stinging and plenty above average)
    • Lomachenko doesn't win a single round off of Pac — not one — and I believe Pac would KO Lomachenko in under 3 rounds (pretty Lomachenko doesn't survive a single left hand)
    • Pacquiao was willing to fight Lomachenko at 135

I don't know about 'NOW', but when the fight was initially proposed, I was favoring Pacquiao heavily.

Crawford's power is grossly overrated out of proportions. This is the same guy who couldn't even cleanly KO someone who not only has a glass-jaw, but was also totally shot to pieces in Amir Khan. So he resorted to low blows because legal punches weren't working for him (due to his lack of power). That was a clear bail out from Crawford which is a clear indication he couldn't KO Amir Khan legally. Outside of the off-balanced knockdown, Amir Khan was beginning to take Crawford's punches better and better as every round progressed. So chances are, Crawford not only lacks power, but is also probably a suspect feather-fist.

Amir Khan isn't the only fight this happened. Crawford had to literally land everything with all his might for 10 rounds against a washed up little midget in Gamboa who was moving up 2 divisions. Crawford managed to get the KO after an eternity. Not a sign of good power, considering Gamboa arguably also has a glass jaw too.

In addition, their common opponent in Jeff Horn, Crawford at no point inflicted any more damage with his power on Horn than Pacquiao did. Crawford got a premature standing stoppage against a clearly conscious Jeff Horn in the 9th round, the exact same round Pacquiao should've also gotten a stoppage if we're being fair since Pacquiao inflicted at least as much damage, if not even more. But Crawford being the home fighter, received home-cooking from the referee. Pacquiao didn't have that luxury. So once again, I see literally no evidence that Crawford is likely to KO Pacquiao due to his lack of power getting exposed.

Pacquiao on the other hand, was the only fighter after Maidana to come closest to dropping Adrien Broner. Pacquiao inflicted more damage on Broner than anybody else did, outside of Maidana. Including compared to Mikey Garcia.

Crawford also has a very suspect / shaky defense. If you're getting hit, time after time by someone like Gamboa as Crawford was in the first 4 rounds and also getting stunned by someone like that, then your chances aren't too high at avoiding Pacquiao.

And even Amir Khan, just couldn't miss with his punches and combination against Crawford, despite his glass-jaw and despite being shot. Testament to how pathetic and shockingly bad Crawford's defense is, that someone like Amir Khan was pepper him with his punches and was able to land at will.

Let's be honest here! What do you think Pacquiao would've done to Gamboa or Khan? You seriously think they'd last as long and be as successful offensively?

Pacquiao is miles better than Gamboa or Khan offensively, that he'd find Crawford even more.

As for Lomachenko. Yes, it's entirely possible Pacquiao can catch Lomachenko in the first round with a knockout punch. But it's also entirely possible the fight goes a couple of rounds and Lomachenko wins those rounds.

Let's be real here! If Pacquiao goes multiple rounds and wins those rounds against a much smaller Lomachenko, then that'd mean Pacquiao's power is pathetic. I don't think Pacquiao is going to win any round, outside of a knockout / knockdown. And it's entirely possible this can happen in the first round. Simply because, if Pacquiao manages to land effective punches on Lomachenko in the first place to win any round, then he'd have gotten the knockout in that very round, without needing more rounds.

But yes, Lomachenko is more than capable of taking rounds off Pacquiao.

Agree with 99% of this. However you forget to mention that Arum’s new special contracts require a fighter to agree for the old man’s cryogenic freeze and revival so in theory a fighter will be stuck for another 200 years. Pac-Man wasn’t having it.
