Again, you keep coming back to this assumption that he didn't try. There are a number of possible interpretations of why the fight went down the way it did, and a number of factors that contributed to his performance.
He threw the fight? Plenty have asserted that as well, which you flatly discount correct? I'm sure there were outside factors, you can discuss them, but we'd still end up back in the same place. It's cool though, discuss away. I do have one question for you, does it appear to you that Max tried as hard to win in the Braddock fight as he did against, say, Max?
I would need to see a lot more evidence, before I countenance the idea. It depends exactly what happened. If his hands were broken as some have suggested, then he might just have been in crisis management mode. Perhaps he really had such a low opinion of Braddock, that he thought that he could take him out any time he wanted to. Perhaps he was so rusty that this performance really was the best that he could manage on the day. Did we see something in the recent Joshua fight that might have been instructive perhaps?
