I mean. Obviously not true. Landed plenty. Only one I can think of that not much of a solid punch landed except jabs and 1-2 left hooks was vs Berto. Who to be fair is a fairly terrible technical fighter. He didn’t get hurt once in that fight, oh and Guerrero, who’s fairly feather fisted. Impressive. From what I recall. Maidana hurt him in rd 5 fight in fight I. Cotto in rd 6. Pacquiao In rd’s 4 and 6. Mosley in rd 2. Corley a few times, the major one;s being rd’s 3 and 4, and maybe more (could never watch this fight in it’s entirety). Castillo hurt him in rd 7. Chaves hurt him rd 8. Sure there are more escaping me, obviously Judah lit him up early, Augustus lit him up often, I mean, it’s just a myth, obviously.
Straight up and down, no special effects. Loma stands out of the pack. He has that “IT” factor in comparison to Crawford and Canelo.
Although Crawford has looked impressive, there isn't an opponent Crawford has faced that leads me to believe he beats a prime Mayweather. Gamboa possibly due to speed and power, but FM's defense sets him apart. Both FM and Crawford adjust extremely well. I just can't go against a prime Floyd.
Still sleeping on Mayweather's skills, I like Crawford a whole lot but Mayweather in his prime, stands alone.
I think Bud gives him a good fight, but until he defeats some serious opposition, Bud will remain a could-have-been and subject to defeat in most fantasy matchups with legit greats.
Crawford would talk about it for years but never fight him. Fans would blame management. I just want to see Crawford fight a top three Welter. Floyd is retired, let’s start with active guys before we make wild predictions. How about Spence, Porter, Manny, Thurman (if he can get back in form). If Spence or Crawford’s next opponent isn’t named Spence or Crawford, I’m not interested.
Floyd by wide UD. I'm sure TC would have some moments, but I don't think he'd been able to capitalize on them. Floyd was too good.
