It could go either way because of their last fights. Hatton was hurt bad by one of Urango's body punches and went into clinch mode. If Castillo wins this it will probably be with a body shot late on in the fight. Castillo also tends to slip his arms under clinches and uppercut which could work against Hatton.

I want Ricky to win this one as it would be good for British boxing if he does but my 6th sense tells me that Castillo is planning something special. I hope I am wrong as I dream of Hatton and Ajose Olusegun contesting for the unified world titles in Manchester one of these days.

Hatton said everything you just said and has been working extra hard on his body, so I hope it wont be too much of a factor.

If he can get back to his best then yes his more compact punches could take Hatton out late on

I think that Castillo will win because he been in many brawls and can take a punch as well. Yes he on the slide but if he was to win it would be that he experienced and Hatton done himself no favours the way he treats his body between fights. But if you ask who I want to win then its Hatton but i personally see this 60/40 in favour of Castillo

This is the only way I see Castillo winning (or frealk cut), as Ricky has started to gas of late, then there is a chance he might get took out, as Castillo has underrated punching power.

For anyone who is saying now (or after the fight for that matter) that Castillo is shot, is talking out of their arse. They are getting their built in excuses in already, so if and when Hatton wins, the can say "Castillo was shot"

Which brings me on to another thing, one of the other problems with boxing today is as soon as someone loses they instantly say he is shot or overhyped (P4P ranked nr3 Tszyu, anybody), and possibly the fighters start to beleive it themselves. someone shoud recite the story of Jimmy Braddock too them, 3 fights before his HW title fight he was something like 18wins 23 losses

    apologies for waffling

How is Castillo on the slide. His two fights with Corrales were the best of his career and the two opponens following that bout were never going to be the type to be explosive against especially following the Corrales wars.

In UFC hardly anyone is unbeaten its all about the dollar - unbeaten tag, plastic title makes money.

I think both know the dangers each other possess and im worried both could go on the defensive and this could end up being an anti-climax. I really hope im wrong but i see hatton winning by UD with no knockdowns.
