Can we all agree that Shawn Porter has a true cast iron chin?

Has this guy ever been legit hurt in a fight? He was knocked down by Broner when he lost focus, but wasn't buzzed. Spence landed a huge power haymaker left square on his chin and his glove touched canvas.

This is a guy who serves his chin up and nobody can even dent it.

He absolutely has an excellent chin but he certainly does not offer it up on a platter. The main reason he has such a great chin is because he is adept at not getting caught flush in vulnerable positions.

Porter too often smothers his own punches. On the plus side, it smothers the punches of his opponents as well.

Yes, he is immensely robust in general.

He's also an absolutely horrible watch.

He has a great chin, but I also think Spencer’s power is overrated

Porter is a great guy with a very robust set of whiskers but he was dropped by Broner and the featherfisted Spence (who it has been scientifically proven possesses less power than Leo Santa Cruz) in the pros, sparked out in 2 (KO2) in the amateurs by the Cuban Emilio Correa Jr. and also dropped in the ams by Domonic Wade.

Speaking as someone who actually does possess a ''true cast-iron chin'' and who has never even been rocked in a fight before, let alone wobbled, dropped, TKO'd, KO'd or god forbid made to do an embarrassing chicken dance. I'm sorry but Porter's application for membership at Club Cast-Iron Chin has been denied.

Spence ain't feather fisted. Strange remark for a man of your knowledge.

Porter has a fairly solid chin.

I became a big fan of his during the Spence fight. His reaction after getting up from the knockdown gave me goosebumps.

I would agree though prior to this fight Porter did not over excite me.

It's not so much boring as it is ugly.

One thing that Porter is excellent in doing is breaking up his rhythmn. He did it extremely against Garcia, one half of the fight he was bull-rushing then the other he was boxing super long range. Danny had no clue on how to deal with it.

Two FOTY contenders with Thurman and Spence. Garcia and Berto were really fun fights as well, plenty action.

Gomez, Both Diaz, Malignaggi and Alexander were pretty decent fights when he was hitting world level.

Anyone beating Broner up is a good watch.

He can be sloppy and smoother his work though and if he has an opponent like Brook or Ugas than year, its a horrible watch as he wades in and his opponent refuses to fight.

Overall though one of the more exciting fighters in boxing.
