Can we all agree that Shawn Porter has a true cast iron chin?

Ugly smothering semi legal rough-housing even in his 'better' fights. He needs to do what's best for him, I understand that but my god is his style unappealing to me.

 

Almost as tanky as Tim Bradley.

 

Guess it comes down to taste Id much prefer to watch that than a boxer pot shotting on the back foot for 12 rounds.

 

Shawn Porter is almost unwatchable.

Porter is my favorite active fighter but I wouldn't say he has an iron chin.

 

I was just gonna say that everyone seems to have forgotten about Thurman.
Thurman legit hurt him a few times. Like, really hurt him. Rare to see Porter backing up.

 

Wtf does he have then?
Only guy to knock him down is Broner, who caught him off guard and scored a flash knockdown.
Brook, Spence, Thurman and Garcia are all big punchers, yet Porter stood his ground and ate whatever he had to.

I think your definition of the term might be a bit off.

 

I guess it is a bit off lol. I always thought it was having a legendary chin not just a very good one. Thanks for correcting me I was legitimately confused.

 

Porter has a good solid chin. He has been in with real good punchers.

Hes the most underrated guy.....one for the connoseurs to appreciate.

To the uneducated untrained and unsophisticated he is " just a brawler,"....porter has speed and power...fast feet..solid chin...and is adept at riding shots...

I kind of look at porter as a curious mix of honeyghan/mayorga and mosley.

 

Yep and Broner also drained him down to 144 for that fight.
