    Any helpful clinch strategies?
I'm a stronger sort of fellow albeit short but i often find myself the physically superior grappling combatant I'm a converting pressure fighter brawler sort training to be a counter puncher and remnants of my former fighting style remain whenever i clinch I instinctively muscle them towards the ropes is there any other sort of tips you fellas could offer? I certainly don't want to be a jab and grabber but I don't want to be a fish out of water akin to Tyson in the clinch.
    Cheers!

(Note all clinch ideas not just for a defensive boxer bully tactics and ideal time to clinch ect are also the flavor)

Go back to the old fights, early 1900s. In those days they clinched and wrestled strategically, to wear down an opponent. That continued on well into the 40s and 50s at least.

As to who to watch, I'm drawing a blank at the moment. Search the classic section, or start a thread on it. You will get a bunch of suggestions.

Grab him: wrap up his arms so he cannot swing on you, and then lean in, and make him support all of your weight.
This will tire him out, and wear him down.
You can always stand on his foot so he can't get away.
