If it’s not Joyce/PPV next, than Frank needs to pick one of Jennings, Takam, Otto Wallin..somebody of this standard.

Certainly will be a low budget opponent picked by Frank

DDDs career will go exactly the same as Yarde. Bum after bum (or seriously overmatched opponents) until he is 24-0 and WBO No.1 contender. Then he will get a shot and he will either win or lose. Frank Warrens been doing this for years and years and years.

This doesn’t really make any sense.

Yes, the last 2 opponents have been poor. His career progression leading to Gorman was perfectly acceptable and similar to how AJ was moved up to the Whyte fight.

In December when he fought Fujimoto, they offered big money to Price, Allen and Junior Fa which obviously was turned down.

If it wasn’t for Covid, he would have already fought Joyce...and it will hopefully happen later in the year.

If it turns out to be another Sneijders instead, I will come back and join you.

After beating the mighty Dutchman, Daniel has now leapfrogged in to 2nd place with WBO.

Sometimes being with Frank Warren works in your favour with his links to the WBO.

Think they will try and get Allen and offer peanuts.
Will end up being Dubois vs Alexander Frank

don’t get how they can’t do the Joyce fight without fans. Both guys can’t be on more than £500k each. Only needs to sell 50k PPV to make a profit.

They can but it’s just pure greed. They want to maximise whatever profits they can as opposed to putting the best fights on for the fans.

They need to learn what a loss leader is.

Excluding that 10 rounder with Johnson where he worked entirely at his own pace to try and put away a punchbag that was purely in there to survive, he’s not done more than 5 rounds. Unlike Yarde, I do actually believe that Dubois has the credentials to go on and become a world champion...but like Yarde, he is still woefully unprepared for a number of things that can go wrong in a 12 round heavyweight fight with a legitimate fighter. Getting chinned off Lartey is not a proper whiskers test. He’s never had adversity, not even slightly. He’s never had to adjust. He’s never had to work at a pace that he’s not entirely uncomfortable with. I don’t expect him to have been thrown in with a top 10 fighter at this stage but he could have done with someone who gave him some headaches.

I really hope he doesn’t have to learn all these things in a world title fight. At least Joshua had his heart, chin and gas tank tested against Whyte before he went for world titles.

Spot on, in reality I don’t think he was ready for a world title, only that it was Charles Martin they took it.

Dubois hasn’t been in with anyone. Joyce would be fantastic as would a Helenius, even Wach. One of these big, fairly tough competitors who’ve been around the fringe world scene.

I like Dubois but a WBO number 2 world ranking is ridiculous. If AJ drops the belt, you can’t make the step up from Nathan Gorman to Oleksandr Usyk and be mentally or physically prepared for it.

Warren offered Allen more money to fight Dubois last year than he has ever received. Thankfully for the good of Dave’s health he decided to fight Price instead - he still got mullered, but I dread to think what would happen
    against Daniel.

Joyce is on nearly 7 figures mate. Frank got Dubois to sign a 5 year deal off the back of the Joyce fight, so he must be expecting at least 1m.

A lot of people seem to struggle with Joyce’s being on major money, so to put it into perspective, a nobody like Kid Galahad got nearly £500k to fight Warrington on a non PPV card.

Fantastic prospect, he looks to have it all but let’s be honest if he was your fighter, if you were managing him and looking after his career you would want to steer him away from the likes of Usyk and Joshua for now. He’s gona end up having a similar problem to what Yarde had. Overinflated world ranking and leaves him in an awkward position.

I don’t know how a win over the Japanese fella, the Dutch fella, Lartey and Gorman puts you in that position.
