He should get advertising on the soles of his boxing shoes in preparation for the inevitable glass shattering

Exactly how I see it. Usyk v Dubois could be a mirror of Kovalev v Yarde. Dubois youth and athleticism provides a couple of exciting moments of success before pedigree and a lack of experience see’s Usyk stop an exhausted Dubois late.

Wpuld you say Dubois has alot of Athleticism? Im not sure he does, i would argue Usyk has more.

Even without the experience I know Dubois would smash a lot of the top 25 or so but he still needs them fights just for experience. He needs a bit more adversity to overcome.

as for Usyk he is definitely one of the ones I steer Dubois well clear of. I think Usyk betters him in athleticism and every other single department bar power. At this moment in time I reckon Usyk would dismantle him in 5/6 rounds.

We don't really know whether DDD has a Vitali Klitschko chin or will fall to pieces when hit like our Big Dave.

The opponents since Gorman should have been better than Gorman as he is simply not developing.

He should be ready now after 15 fights for at least an Andy Ruiz Jnr level fight to give him something to think about and maybe a few hard rounds to come through if he does not land the big punch early.

I bet Fury's buddy Drew McMaster would last longer than Warren's last Dubois 'test'. Might even land one.

I know what you mean. I felt the same way for a while and identified the reason; he's extraordinarily simple.

What I now recognise is how easy it is for a simpleton to wholly dedicate themself to an enterprise.

And DDD is dedicated. He seems to live and breath boxing. So on balance I think his simplicity may in fact be a positive in the long run, so long as he has good trainers around him.

Frank is the man of the people with cards moving all over the place without much consideration of fans who bought tickets.

Would not mind so much but the fan is fleeced for 10% of ticket value in non refundable fees - perhaps Frank gets 50% of these fees.

The example I was thinking about was Fury v Chisora 2 moved from MEN Arena to London.

    Lol................................Really?

Dillian has fought some real good opponents fight after fight whilst Dubois whilst looking a great talent, as of yet hasn't fought anyone remotely near that level.

DDD is still green, untested. His last opponent was a punching bag.

Joyce should be a very good "Coming thru" fight for DDD. Joyce is very experienced and needs no explanation of the fight game. If DDD dispatches Joyce within 5, then i believe DDD understands what bringing the business really means and will be considered a real threat real fast in the division, the kid is just 22 years old.

DDD get's stopped, Frank Warren will go like, "Well listen, the kid is still very young 22 years old he went in there with a very experienced fighter and lost, he'll come back, Dillian Whyte went in there with a 40 year old fighter and got knocked out and will come back, we take on real challenges, Daniel Dubois is still very young and will come back stronger very soon.

He actually turned 23 this week, but I guess that’s still very young for a heavyweight.

If these corona cases keep rising and no vaccine then we could be looking at 2021.
