He could be SUCH a great body puncher. He had a really good, straight jab that would have probably won him more fights if he'd just employed it more often. The rest of his punches had varying degrees of loop to them, but both his overhand right and hook were more than effective, especially to the body. Check out the way he smacked the crap out of the midsections of opponents, that man knew what he was doing. Eddie Futch is an incredible GOD of a trainer. But I always wondered why he didn't help Ken a way to work off his back foot...a career-long problem for him that seems mystifyingly uncorrected. And he could have used tighter, shorter punches in his arsenal.
