Yeah, he’s been messing around all year, and no big loss to Warren as he isn’t the most exciting fighter. Very technically good, but won’t exactly set the world on fire. Pulling out of the Sadiq fight with some nonsense excuse about his pregnant Missus, plus joining up with Caldwell and the writing was on the wall really. The Hutchinson fight was called by the board and it would have been a cracker on paper/ instead he’s off to Matchroom probably to fight the likes of Fielding which is far less appealing IMO.
Coldwell mentioning inactivity as a reason for the switch. That’s on Lerrone, he had the chance to fight Umar Sadiq earlier in the year and turned it down. Then had the chance to fight Hutchinson and again turned it down
Rumour has it Eddie is paying him close to double what he was previously and guaranteed him 3 fights minimum in the next 12 months. If that’s the case it’s fair enough.
Not doubled but significant increase that isn’t far off. As you said he’s not a big attraction so he’s not been on significant money in the first place as he doesn’t sell tickets

Obviously, I don’t know the contract situation, but if Lerrone wouldn’t be tied to Frank afterwards, If I was Eddie, I would have wanted him to do the Hutchinson fight on BT as it would be fairly high profile and then look to sign him up afterwards if he won. Or if he lost, maybe even go after Hutchinson, who is by far a more exciting and marketable prospect IMO. If Lerrone did come through though, at least then Eddie would have a ready made product and a running start with him and straight away he could stick him in a good fight that justifies the money. It almost seems like Eddie has signed him to stick it on Frank again, but like with Saunders that could end back firing on him.

Why can't he still fight Hutchinson? I agree he gets battered by him, loses to Fielding and Sadiq too
