This is finished fairly quickly and ends badly for Benn, after a furious but brief war. Hagler delivers too much precision armory for Benn to withstand over any kind of distance. It's a near miracle if the bout reaches round 5.

Hagler would pick Benn apart. Benn's tailor-made for the Marvelous one. He'd go straight for Marvin and Hagler would use that aggression against Nigel.

It would be somewhere between 5 and 8 rounds before Benn collapsed in an exhausted heap from the accuracy of Hagler's assault.

    Exciting and fun fight this.

Benn hit like a mule but Marvin would be too durable for him.

Hagler KO in the middle rounds after a crazy fast paced war from the opening bell with bombs being thrown by both men.

Hagler by stoppage after back n forth battle. Marvin was an accumulation puncher not a 1-hitter quitter. Benn has a decent chin, courage & decent boxing skills so he doesn't stand face 2 face like Mugabi, he's fighting, but not like a statue.

I can see midrounds- Benn giving different looks similar to Duran. Not on Duran's level, but using positions, being unpredictable with his sometimes haymakers forces Marvin to adjust, switch hits, adapts, up the punch rate. Been wants to go on, but it is stopped between 9-11 with an angry Benn saying he can continue while wobbling around.

Absolutely what I was thinking Duranimal. Peak Hagler is that night in Worcester when he dismantled poor Sibbo, although all 3 judges gave Tony the 3rd.
Peak Benn was very similar to Sibson and Marvin put on an exhibition. From the 4th he described his performance as " Dipping into my toolbox ".

Benn is my all time favourite fighter and in these head to heads I'm usually biased.

The only area he has an advantage is one punch power maybe 9 out of 10 compared to 8 for Marvin.

Chin, durability, ring craft, experience, defence, all in Haglers favour.

Benn don't hit as hard as Hearns, and Marvin shows him the same door in round 3

Don't really see this as competitive fight if I'm honest. Hagler takes him out when he decides to get aggressive or when Benn gets too aggressive and walks into something. Either way, it's not making it past 6 imo
