Smoking Joe Frazier is thrust into the world of boxing in 1959. Frazier was told of the fighters of the 1950's by his trainer Eddie Futch on the night of Feb 16 1970 in Madison Square Garden, moments after his spectacular KO 5 victory of WBA Champion Jimmy Ellis. That night as Joe slept, he is thrust into a time warp as a storm swept through New York. Frazier finds himself with a younger Eddie Futch and a younger Yank Durham. All three are faced with the possibility of facing the top ten of 1959, with Ingo as champion. How does Joe do, what are the results of those fights? And who does he face? This is my very short Sci-Fi novel.

Sonny Liston says to Joe, Nah you are not going to be a problem, maybe two rounds at the most. Sonny raises two fingers like in a peace sign. Cleveland Williams management are curious of this newcomer as is Ingo.

Bit awkward for D'Amato, having another ATG heavy in the mix to justify ducking.

Only sonny Liston stands in his way really.
Patterson, Ingo, Williams etc, all get taken down.

Outside of Liston, I do not see any one beating Frazier.

Joe's dream becomes a nightmare and his hopes go up in smoke as soon as he meets Liston...

Next morning Joe wakes up and says: "What horrible nightmare!. Thanks heaven, Liston just retired! ... Well, time for me to go to Jamaica and beat that Foreman newcomer!"

FOTC Frazier stops Liston in 10 in one of the greatest, most entertaining matches in history.

Any other Joe Frazier gets stopped by Liston in 3.

    You know your stuff.

Frazier by TFOTC was a top ten all time great. For that time, He up there with the best ever. Whilst there were other great champions from the era, Frazier would have been the only top ten level all time great heavyweight had here fought in that period.
