Anthony Joshua is the first one that springs to mind for me.

One thing that bugs me is people suggesting that AJ having a 'bad' or 'suspect' chin would lead to him suffering a KO loss to Wilder... the reality is that, anyone could suffer a KO loss to Wilder, it doesn't matter how good/bad your chin is - if that man lands flush, you're going to sleep!

So yes, whilst AJ could get sparked - i'd back him to land first, and early - then it's "bam baby goodnight" for Wilder.

Also take note of how long it can take for Wilder to find that big shot, it's taken him 5-10 rounds against low opposition at times. If he takes that long against AJ (and the likes of Whyte, Parker and Ruiz) then it's simple - he's probably gonna get clipped first... and Wilder doesn't have a granite chin.

Low quality opposition and avoiding power punchers is the reason this thread exists. Stick Wilder in with a skilled, powerful opponent and i'd be willing to bet a pretty penny that he'd get stopped before he can land clean.

What about Fury and Usyk? Whilst I don't think they have the power to stop him, they could surely survive 12 to beat him on points.

True, he hasn't done anything noteworthy at HW yet - but when he fought Witherspoon I think he looked as good as he did at CW, and we all know how good he was then!

    Could?

Fury, Ruiz, AJ, Parker, Dubois, Whyte. Ect.

Plenty. I could see any of them managing to get a win.

    Would?

Only one Id actually favor to win outright is Fury and possibly Ruiz depending how he looks against AJ.

I can never remember his name but that big african that beat Mansour awhile back... I haven't liked a prospect as much in a long time. Looks very very promising imo. It wouldnt surprise me if he could beat Wilder within 1.5 years as Wilder gets stiffer and slower and the african keeps improving.

Joshua. Hrgovic, Usyk , Joyce , Ortiz ( showed he could still be a threat ,heaven forbid if he came in with an intelligent game plan and stuck to it,he hasn't yet for a full 12 rounds ) Are your best bets besides Fury at the moment. And Povetkin depending on what he looks like against Hunter. Id give 3 first guys named here as favorites over Wilder ,the rest are threats that could manage a win at any point .

I don't like Parker or Whyte types / Parker is to passive and Whyte has defense holes and gets emotional and may start lunging into right hands ( but that's unpredictable one ,could be close ) . While Ruiz simply is to heavy footed the Ortiz fight shows you cant be that with him if you are definatley shorter and Ruiz is even shorter then Ortiz.

Theres a few guys you can call 50 /50 just cause wilder is a punch away if you get him stunned there big units with power and some with really good skill knocking on the door, like DDD, Ajagba , Makhumudov and Sirenko who will be invading the top 10 within a year or 2.

Fury 50% chance, maybe 60% (just have a funny feeling Wilder will KO him tho)
Usyk 70% chance, Usyk miles better at everything besides power
Joshua 45% chance, Joshua is more skilled, Wilder has better chin, stamina and power)
Ruiz 40% chance, Ruiz is better but he's small and Wilder has that touch of death.

I wont speak on Hrgovic until he faces a top guy.
