I saw some padwork on IG this week. He puts his combos together well, shades of Gorman but with much more speed. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t have his moments. Reckon he might even take the first round and maybe the second due to output as Joshua feels him out. Not disputing he is a pudding but he’s a pudding who will go down fighting. That’s the worst type of pudding for a heavy favourite.
Finkel saying Wilder will fight Ortiz/Fury/AJ in succesion but didn't state what order. I suspect the order I've mentioned will be the correct order. As I said before, I feel there's a deal in place with Fury.
You must’ve just seen this. Absolute disgrace. This fight doesn’t warrant a rematch. This content is protected
Why not? If fights with Fury and Joshua don’t happen I have no problem with this. First fight was a classic. Don’t forget that Ortiz almost had him out of there and Wilder was given extra time to recover. Classic fight, one of my favourites in modern times.
Classic?! Behave. Ortiz is nearly dead. He poses 0 risk to Wilder, it’s pointless. Why not have a mandatory against Whyte, or Povetkin or Joyce. All top 15 in the WBC all pose more of a threat than Ortiz but Wilder would still be clear favourite in every one. Or just accept the Joshua offer or make your own offer...
It was a bonafide modern day Heavyweight Classic. Don’t care what anyone says that was a thrilling fight. How can you say Ortiz poses no threat to Wilder when he had him on silly street and essentially saved by the ref when he was inexplicably given extra time to recover after the round where he was out on his feet? Povetkin is tiny and was KTFO by Joshua. Wilder also already signed to fight him in Russia before Povetkin failed a test. We all know the WBC are screwing Whyte and Joyce is lined up to fight Jennings. There is nothing wrong with Wilder-Ortiz if the big fights can’t be made as I said above.
Don’t get me wrong, i’d much rather have Wilder vs Fury/Joshua/even Whyte before Ortiz...but I did really enjoy that first fight, and Ortiz had him bingo’d on his feet. Wilder showed remarkable recovery to get over them 2 rounds.
^They all overlooked Ruiz. We all knew Ruiz can box and fight. But Joshua and Hearn were talking about having a sit down meeting with Wilder after the fight lmfao. This is exactly what they deserve.
