If he keeps his 55% and up punching accuracy and fight with the skills of the pretty boy days (defense, offense, movement, every punch in the book, and ridicious lead left hooks and lead rights and the crazy counter punching) in his prime carrying tyson's 147 version power, he would be a frightening exerience for his opponent.

of course he'd be better, what kind of stupid question is this

he lands with a good % and if he had more power, he'd be pretty devestating

Floyd can put just about anyone on the floor with one shot, excepting guys like Margarito, even at welterweight. Dude can crack. If you don't think Floyd has power, then you're just not paying attention.

What an idiotic statement. Why couldn't he manage to make 144 against JMM then. Are you saying he walks around between fights at 127 lbs. :patsch

I'd say he has decent power. He's definitely not the feather fisted puncher the *******s make him out to be. If his punch output hadn't declined in recent years he'd probably have stopped more opponents. It's more his timing and technique of punches that drop guys rather than his power, but he still has decent power. Certainly enough to gain his opponents respect.

I think it would take away from his skills.. Most fighter that feel they can KO anyone, tend to rely on their power to bail them out situation . two good example cotto and Julian jackson.. both fighter were very good boxer during their amateur and early pro career. Once these fighter learned they could swat, they stopped developing their boxing skills. Floyd early in his career was a puncher but after hand injury he had to develop other aspect of his boxing game.. If floyd was slugger I don't think he would be that good of a boxer. just my opinion.

God help us in ESB because as is *****s consider him the GOAT.

Imagine if he can actually punch, he would be god in esb. Greater than the other gods like mijares, Joan Guzman.
