Looks like a punch to me and everyone who isnt from the Ukriane.

 

Vitali was the best H2H fighter of the 3 and he accomplished the least.

 

Can't you see him intentionally hitting Klitschko in the eye with his thumb out of frustration to avoid being KO'd?

So if you punch somebody, and that person dies, do you then turn around and say:

If so and so never died, he'd have gone on to win the fight on points/late stoppage.

So if he never got cut, why not take it one step further, and say: What if Lewis fought with both arms behind his back?

What if a boxer gets knocked down - will you then say: If he wasen't sleeping, he'd have gone on to win the fight?

At the end of the day, if a cut is from a punch, then.. duh!

If it is from something else, then I can understand the argument.

If boxing was a 100% technical chess-game, then why don't we just turn it into a complete art-form, use super padded gloves and have the fight ALWAYS go to the scorecards?

Face it. Vitali could have been winning EVERY round and Lewis still may have got one lucky punch that ended it. That's boxing. If you don't like that, go watch Golf.

Ultimately, no doctor would dispute the fact that he would've gone blind if Lewis hit that eye one more time.

Seriously though, This was AFTER the fight...

 

This is one fight that baffles me. Every time i watch the fight it seems clear to me that Lewis looks like he is going to take Vitali out in the next round out two.
Then someone else sees it as Lewis was about to be KOed.
