Hopkins-Dawson set for October 15th on PPV?

    I'm looking forward to this but PPV? :patsch Neither one is a draw. Hopkins might have to do pushups in between every round and give a Pacquiao style concert after the fight to get more interest.

    Sounds good to me, not that I'll be buying it.

    I'd rather HBO dish out their own cash for a fight where someone has to land more than 10 punches to win a round.

    HBO is doing the right thing in letting Golden Boy fund this fight and they just handle production (I'm assuming that will be the case).

    You can bet on this. Those who foolishly deceive themselves in believing that green Dawson has a chance at defeating Hopkins are on either crack or Meth. They are not to be taken seriously. :lol:

    With the Mayweather fight in September, Pac in Nov, and this one right in the middle of the two this one is going to have a hard time pulling down numbers. This is a big fight and an important one but not likely to be very entertaining in the ring. PPV is all wrong for this one on a number of fronts. Putting the Pascal-Cloud fight on the undercard would be a good start to making a strong undercard but I don't know how likely that is. Hopefully, HBO digs up the cash and puts this on regular HBO, they did it before with Pascal and then that fight did big numbers so I guess its possible again.

    I ain't buying this fight but I will watch it. Dawson has to represent for his generation. He is suppose to win but I don't know if he will.

    man PPV?? I understand why because Hopkins just won the title and everybody would love to see him now but Dawson is ****in boring as hell. unless they load that card up, I'm not buying that ****!

    That doesnt mean I wont have my homey buy it and I go to his house. hahaha
