Haye thinks he'll have a "legacy" if he beats Wlad?

This is it, my career-defining fight," said the 30-year-old, who wants to retire before turning 31 on 13 October.

"I took Nikolai Valuev's titles, but there's more at stake in this one. This is my legacy-deciding fight."

WTF legacy has Haye built up? Beating Audley one punch Harrison?:? The guy is a nut :nut

The mug even thinks he took 'titles' of Valueless. He took one paper belt from a guy who wasn't even the champ. And he still claims he punches harder than Wlad

I see only Haye's heavyweight foray counts towards his legacy... :tired

Monte Barrett says he hits as hard as Wlad. So saying he hits harder is not that unreasonable, a fighter is going to say anything to big up himself. Unless you have more knowledge than someone that has fought them both of course.

What legacy does he have at CW? He wasn't undisputed and had only 2 title fights. It's a joke to say he's any legacy there either.

Being the best in the world at any weight gives a boxer a "legacy". Being the best HW in the world certainly does.

Well he'll need to fight Vitali for that. Calzage and Lewis are the only recent British fighters worthy of the word "legacy", certainly not Haye.
