The problem with these kinds of victories is the way the rounds were won... Macklin won 4 very clear rounds... I would say Sturm won two very clear rounds.. The other rounds you have to break down and judge against either effective workrate where Macklin was very cleanly landing shots, or the big powerful shots Sturm would throw in spurts... I felt macklin won enough clear rounds... And when the rounds were close I'd give it to the better man.. Meaning who caused the bigger amount of damage throughout 3 minutes...

sven ottke robbed decent hard working pros of victories they deserved, he played part in some of the most corrupt **** ive ever seen, looking at the referee when your opponent hits you, headbutting your opponent then having the ref WARN HIM, getting floored and laughing as the ref wipes your gloves and rules it a slip... I wondered why you stuck up for Ottke so much..then low and behold, somebody told me you were bavarian...hmmmmmmmmm

Im Irish btw so dont try and turn this into some british sour grape put down, I could give a flying **** about Robin Reid in general, but the fact that you defend that monstrousitiy that was Ottke-Reid, says everything about you as a boxing fan.
