I wish I could see the fight. He beat a solid dude at 122 with a good resume, I think he can be the 1st mexican to win 4 titles

Hated the way the fight ended, with Nomas Cermeno not able(or willing) to get up from his stool but still a good win for Kochulito!

Just watched the fight. I don't speak spanish, but it didn't look like Montiel did any damage. His opponent just sat in the corner between rounds, and the ref counted 10.

Is it possible this was a sham? Wait till Montiel fights again on American TV. Max Kellerman will say he came back from the bone-crushing Donaire KO with a 2nd round KO of his own! So few Americans will have seen the fight, TKO R2 will be the whole story. I like Montiel, and I'm purely speculating, but that's how it looks to me.

Can any Spanish speakers give a better explanation?

LOL they look like they are fighting in an old school WWF steel cage match.
(They look tiny in that ring, They are drowning in the ropes)

WTF? I didnt notice the ropes until you folks commented on that one. They were like 6 year old kids fighting, but with skills and KO power. haha
