    P. Williams back for his first KO loss...devastating KO loss. He's been in vs. Margarito, the tough Margarito, Quintana, and Martinez amongst others.

    Lara, great amateur career and has a chance to vault into another level if he can beat the punisher.

    Are we excited for this? What will the outcome be? Will my boy Kid Cubano be bumpin Pitbull and Celia Cruz in victory or does Tall Pall win?

    2011 has been a pretty damn good year for fights so far. I think PW takes this in a mid round KO.

    This is Williams fight to win, I don't believe in Lara and Williams has faced the much tougher competition and has come up big. Especially in late fight situations Williams can be cut, knocked down, etc. and he will still act in a calm stable manner.

    I hope he has learned how to fight tall cause Sergio pulled his hole card on national TV and everybody knows hes a sucker for an overhand anything. He should change trainers if hes aspireing to be great.

    Williams should kick his arse.

    Would be pretty embarrassing if he couldn't get past Lara.

    Call me crazy, but I actually think Williams vs. Ishida had more promise to be exciting (as in someone is probably getting knocked out either way).

    Williams-Lara could actually get boring..

    True!! And it's ****in frustrating to watch! People are talking about a change of trainer but it's a change of mentality that Williams needs. You can't go to war every time without respect for your opponent power especially if you leave yourself open like he does bc he trust(ed) his chin to take all kind of bombs. Williams could still stay the volume puncher that he is but from long range. If he did he would be almost impossible to beat bc he's got incredible stamina and reach!

    Yeah, because Williams just throws arm punches aimlessly sometimes and Lara has a tendency to go into a shell and occasionally throw the inaccurate right hook+straight left to the body. Could very well get dull, but I'm looking forward to it...mostly due to how it'll shape up tactically and how Tall Paul will look after sufffering serious punishment and a brutal knockout loss in two of his last three.

    If Lara fights his best, he will knock Williams out. Counter-punches can be huge for Lara.

    He would so much dominant he actually did that considering he has a heavyweight level reach. It's too bad that in this part of his career it would be a little harder to change his fighting habits.

    That is what was so intriguing about Williams-Ishida.

    Williams is coming off a brutal upset early KO loss.

    Ishida is coming off a brutal upset early KO win.

    Ishida has dimensions that Williams has never seen before.

    On the other hand, Ishida got pressured and bullied for long stretches by crappy Rigo Alvarez (who ultimately got a gift decision in what should have been a close win for Nobuhiro) - whose workrate and pop are nowhere near PTP's.

    Fragility both ways & a combined height and reach off the charts made that a very fun brain-teaser.

    Williams-Lara is just going to be a lopsided points win for whoever can impose their style more. Not as appetizing for me.
