I agree for the most part, But since the stoppage happened SO early you really couldn't measure the fight to be honest.

Good for Montiel. I was nervous when I saw him fight at 122 coz I thought he still has the Nonito hangover. But he just KO that live opponent! I wish Kochulito gains a world title belt, defend it, then Montiel-Donaire rematch.

Not sure why people wanna see Montiel get sparked out again. He is nowhere near Donaire's level.

if they fight again, Montiel better have the right side of his face reinforced this time lawlz...
ehhh, his stance is so FUGLY, Donaire's left hook gets around it all day

I'd rather see a Darchinyan rematch. Need to shut up his big mouth after all these years....

Montiel is one of the bravest people I have ever seen, still him getting up from that punch was one of the most amazing things ever, he was just getting up on heart cause he had no clue where he was, instead of becoming messed up or scared montiel stays quiet accepts his defeat and is looking for revanche, any other guy would avoid a man that did what donaire did to him, blame it on the weight and avoid him.
Montiel is crazy and I think its great that he has so much guts, I dont want to see him vs donaire again though since I think the outcome will be similair, but damn dude really went up in my regard this year.

What exactly in the weight can montiel use as an excuse?

Donaire is all wrong for mOntiel. More powerful, faster, more skilled, bigger.

Well, Did you see Espinosa vs Cobrita Gonzales. Gonzales KTFO espinosa in the Philippines the fight was at bantamweight they rematch 2 years later in Mehiko at featherweight. Espinosa KTFO Cobrita infact he was taken out on a stretcher
and Espinosa crew had bottles thrown at them...

Wouldnt mind seeing a rematch really. Althought i would favor Donaire heavily on this one, but with Montiel's power, anything can happen.

Not a good idea in any way. Montiel can still pick up a BW belt, why not fight Moreno?
