    Edison "Chepo" Reynoso, the trainer of WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, has no issues with his boxer moving up to the middleweight division to face Mexican rival, and WBC champion, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Reynoso is so confident that his boxer defeats Chavez that he's willing to agree to a fight at the middleweight limit. Chavez's promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, recently proposed a catch-weight of 158-pounds.
    "Fighting at 158 pounds, as they said, is not unreasonable, but just gives them an advantage of ten pounds. We're going to win. We will fight him at middleweight if he wants, so there is no problem," Reynoso told Sal Rodriguez.

    Finally Canelo will fight a real champion. JCC jr will knock out Canelo. Coach Freddy has the perfect plan to destroy Canelo. I am 100% positive that Manny will help Jr prepare for the fight.

    What will Manny give him ?
    JCC sucks. He was 180 pounds and still could not KO Zbik or even but him down.
    It will be a close fight but Canelo will take the clear decision.
    :lol::lol:A real champion

    Time will tell, maybe Arum knows that Chavez stands a chance against Canelo and probably believes he would beat Canelo it seems safer than fighting Sergio down the road and having his prospect raped.
    Canelo v JCCjr make sense money wise for both parties,if the fight goes ahead and its a legendary fight regardless of who wins as long as it was close the public will want another fight to decide who's better and then there's a draw 1 a piece now we have trilogy on our hands.

    Wishful thinking on my behalf.
    Iam sure if they meet it will be a great fight whatever the outcome

    There is a clear division in the fans on this one, every body is 100% certain their guy will win, me and I think it could go either way right now, down the road, later on I would say Canelo

    Whoever seriously thinks Chavez is winning this fight if it gets made this year needs to lay off the drugs. Canelo, if he doesn't knock him out, would give him the worse beating of his life.

  13. Canelo's trainer has been said to want Alfonso Gomez for his next fight.
