lol at the idiots who were thinking that this is the best year in boxing. They were a LOT of fights canceled, and a LOT of potetial matchups that should of happened. And some of the big fights were also stinkers. There were just more high profiled fights this year then previous years.

    Dawson vs Diaconu canceled
    Maskaev vs Peter canceled
Vitali Klitschko didn't make his promise on returning back to the ring.
Manny Pacquiao vs Marco Antonio Barrera II was a boring fight
Joel Casamayor vs Santa Cruz was a stinker.
Joan Guzman vs Michael Katsidis canceled
Bhop vs Winky was a shitty fight
Jermain Taylor vs Cory Spinks was another shitty fight as well
Wladmir Klitschko vs Lamont Brewster wasn't a great fight, it was just another championship matchup.

And those are just the few that are on the top of my head. I think 2008 will be even a better year then 2007 because most of the fights that should have happened this year will happen next year. I also think 2005 was a better year in boxing then 2007.

i dont enjoy watching journey men and/or club fighters, if you put it that way there are alot of local fights which are more action packed than bika-codrington.

I was born in 1991, so '07 was the best year I have ever witnessed, but I've only been watching Boxing devotedly since about 2005, so...

Great year only for people that follow boxing. In terms of popularity it was better than the last few years but FAR from great. From an average persons perspective, Boxings HW division is as good as dead.

1987 was a good one.. Tyson was on the way to becoming champ
Holyfield was wiping out the cruiserweights.. Hearns was makin lightheavyweight waves.. beating Dennis Andres, Chavez was becoming a legend, Hagler and Leonard were doing damage.

Oh what a great time, far better than 2007..

20 years ago.. how time flies....
