    spinks was a bloated heavy, so the win doesnt count. douglas on the hand was a bonafide heavy

    bull****, thats like saying Holyfield and Ali were blown up Heavys. Spinks was the lineal hw champion. The win is legit.

    holy was also a bloated heavy. could have been the greatest cruiser in history. tyson at 215 lbs with 5% body fat was a bonafide heavy, so was buster :yep

    But Tyson could have hit Spinks like my Mam used to hit me as a child, and Spinks would have hit the deck.

    One of the worst showings ever by a top fighter in a big fight.

    The man was looking for the canvas more than ****ing Rembrandt.

    no it wouldn't. And it worked well too. Hagler and Hearns fought on I think a Monday night. I think then the thinking was the prefight talk was on the weekend building up to Monday. I am not sure about Hearns vs. Leonard one, I think that was on a Wednesday. not sure though. I think Leonard/Hearns 2 was on a Monday. Hearns/Duran I think was on a Friday. This is all my memory, and Hearns/Benitez on Sat.

    I feel your pain. My point is that the man had a marvelous career, and it seems all he is remembered for is getting his ass beat by Tyson.
