Where are all the Fans that Wanted Pac to Fight Marquez

Yes he's got bigger and better and Margarito declined. But same goes for Pac and Marquez. In 2011, at WW it's an INSULTING fight. Luckily for us casual fans it just won't count historically. When Pac finishes off 37yo career FW JMM, we'll simply say Pac only got the better of the Mexican because of the age and weight advantage.

You can cheat paying fans but you can't cheat history.

Even Bundrage is a better fight than Marquez because he isn't shot or fighting at a weight not suited to him

Pac only fights people who are:

SHOT
WEIGHT DRAINED
FIGHTING AT A WEIGHT NOT SUITED TO THEM
A MAYWEATHER LEFTOVER

 

Actually IMO history will remember that marquez fought Pacquiao 3 time & couldn't win once (assuming Pac wins the 3rd)

Calling it "insulting" is an overstatement. Like I said, Marquez has a history of keeping fights with Pac close simply because Pac's style is perfect for him. Also, Pac doesn't grossly outweigh Marquez in a way that other elite welters like Cotto, Margarito and Clottey would have a couple years ago. Pac still wins big, but I think it's potentially a more competitive fight than a lot of people give it credit for.

 

It doesn't matter where because come fight night they'll be weighing roughly the same. Marquez around 145 and Pac around 146-148.

People at JMM's camp also said this themselves.

The only difference is Pac is not gonna lose much weight.

2nd choice - Martinez
3rd choice - Alvarez for the WBC, Bundrage for the IBF or Senchecko for the WBA. Doesn't matter, at least it's another weight division title

Manny only fights big names for huge pay days, so the 3rd choices are not going to happen
