    Buncey will aren't the BBC showing the championships?

    they normally show the amateur events.

    think the last one was the Welsh ABA's.

    Hope so. If not, Choi v Escalante would be great (if Escalante comes back down to his natural weight - but he is on a losing streak and a good name in the division)

    Been up against it today on Haye piece for tomorrow's Independent and talking to people about the BBC Boxing Hour - the listen-again figures for May were stunning, total blockbusters! Scary numbers and that is in a large part down to you lot: Thanks and I mean that. I will buy beers in Hamburg, trust me.

    Cheers for Getting Sammy on Steve.

    Sammy's a lovely fella. His son lives 5 mins up road from me. Was on bus with him tonight funnily enough. Saw Sam in truck year back on Fulham Road and he shouted out which was nice of him to remember me hadn't seen him in a while. His dad Nobby is good fella as well.

    He got into a lot of trouble with fighting in pubs around south london it's a real shame he lost his way but he's got a missus now and living nice life down there.
