Was he? I don't remember that. I remember that he was dropped even though it is not that clear was it from punch or push but was he hurt badly?
Nope, It probably is Enzo "hit the deck" Mac, with Thompson coming in 2nd. But it says a lot about his opposition, and yet he has just as many "knockdowns per fight" (19%) as Wlad has. :blood
I'd like to see what Carl Thompson could do vs Wlad and what Sanders, Purrity, and Brewster could do against Haye.
Yes, he was clearly stunned several times. Haye has virtual zero defense when he goes on the attack ,with either hand. He drops the other hand and puts his head forward at the same time. Often he will pull his head back afterwards, but waaaay too late if up against a fast counter-puncher. (That's exactly how Barrett rocked him.) The only reason he's gotten away with this so far is due to weak opponenets. - Not gonna' work against Wlad.
Why thank you! see: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mDqlWIbIhA&feature=related[/ame] Look at how many times Haye gets clocked, then grabs Barrett & holds on for dear life. (esp round 3, which IMO he almost didn't survive. This is a great HW fighter? Heck, he's not even a great cruiserweight. Maybe if he fought Cunningham & Adamek, of course then he would hold his phony belt & wouldn't be fighting Wlad.
