On the surface it would seem to make sense, but if you look at the GBP/Top Rank agreement they settled on splitting the promoters profits with 25% going to GBP. This doesn't affect Pacquiao's earnings, plus we don't know how many fights that agreement was for. It was a good guess but sorry, I don't see the connection when you look deeper.

It makes perfect sense. I remember back then when Pac first said he'll sue Golden Boy over the PEDs allegations, that he would sue to get out of that contract, because as a Golden Boy fighter, GBP has not acted on Pac's best interest and behalf.
