he hasn't anything to earn him the merit of a "legendary". however if Haye beats Klitschko it will be a very big year for the dark lord

I've not seen anyone seriously refer to him as legendary.

He's been getting a lot of attention on these forums because the mainstream British media have picked up on a joke made by a poster on the British forum, which has now been used several times on tv shows and newspaper reports in the build up to this fight. Plus he came and posted on the forum.

When people have been serious about Booth they give him credit for his willingness to break away from the norm and try inventive and unorthodox training methods, his tactical astuteness in developing gameplans and his calmness and communication with his fighters between rounds. I don't see anyone really being serious with the 'legendary' stuff.

He seems to be doing well so far in his career, but this is his (and his fighter's) biggest test. I look forward to seeing what they come up with.

David has been let down by not having that good of a trainer for the biggest fight of his life. In the event should David lose a large part of it it is Booths fault.

If Haye loses it doesnt really detract from Booth as a trainer..Wlad has every advantage possible. Haye should lose.

I was thinking the same thing earlier on. Froch is the best English fighter around and we hardly hear of him, always entertaining and backs it up unlike Haye. I even like Amir Khan more than him.

Agreed, doesn't matter who Haye has in his corner, Wlad is always going to be the favourite in this fight.

Yes, his 'Brilliant' gameplan against Degale.. You have to laugh about it really. Adam Booth is not even in the same Universe as Emanuel. I will give him credit for aiding Haye into his fight with Wlad, you do have to give him props for that. Though I think he knows it's going to be a beating for his boy. Beyond that, he's an average trainer at best.

Booth is deffo not a legend at this moment in time. However, I would be intrested to see what happens to booth once haye retires?

Does booth take anyone else on, are there any other prospects other than groves being trained by booth??

To call him a ledge is a kick in the bolocks to many other trainers. That said he has many years ahead of him..
