    Damn. I used to chat with Bouie all the time when he trained Nard at South Florida Boxing. Sucks, he was a great guy, sorry to see him go.

    I hope him and Bernard were on ok terms at the time if his passing. He was maybe the most important figure in Bernards career and a great boxing mind.

    I believe that Bouie's impact on Hopkins life was much more than just being his trainer.
    I recall reading a long article about Hopkine and Bouie, it talked about their bond being so strong as Bouie gave him a job, helped him with housing and everything else when he first came out of the can.

    It was a remarkable story what they achieved together, which made it very sad when they split.
    Would be great if Hopkins comes out and makes a statement to his old friend.

    May Mr. Fisher rest in peace. This was a man who did us fans a favor and helped make B-Hop a master of his craft and was, from all accounts, a decent human being. I seriously hope Mr. Fisher and B-Hop did make up before his exit.

    Boxing lost another man who was a credit to the sport. :(
